It is either green because the colour of light above it is the only colour it allows through like in this case Green light only lets green through or it could be cyan as blue and green make cyan but i think it would be green

Magenta Coloured light. If green and red are mixed then you get yellow light and if blue and green light are mixedd you get cyan couloured light. If green red and yellow are mixed you get white light. White light is mixed up of every single colour.
well apart from the fact that they are different colours they have the same light filter (cyan) but to make them different they have different colour pigments to make up that colour (blue or green).
