They wore a layer of water-cooled undergarments (LCGs) to keep their bodies from overheating. Over that they wore their EVA suits which was of a rubber pressure vessel surrounded by beta fabric. The suit consisted of a lower section (legs), the torso, boots, gloves, and a helmet. Over top of the helmet they wore a the Lunar Environment Visor Assembly (LEVA) which had a gold visor and some sun-shields. On their backs they wore a Personal Life Support System (PLiSS). This pack contained an oxygen tank, CO2 scrubbers, water system for the LCGs, and communications equipment.
All of this was necessary on the moon's surface.
There is no atomosphere or atmospheric pressure. Without atomspheric pressure the astronauts blood would boil.
Moon boots worn by astronauts on the moon weighed about 2.5 pounds each. The boots were specially designed to provide traction, support, and protection for astronauts while navigating the lunar surface.
On the Moon there is no atmosphere, so there is nothing to breathe. In addition we need the pressure of the air on our bodies. We also need protection from the extremes of temperature found there.
Astronauts do not need to walk on the moon to conduct experiments or gather samples. They can use rovers and specialized equipment to explore the surface without walking. Walking on the moon would be difficult due to the moon's low gravity and lack of atmosphere.
No astronauts have died on the moon. All astronauts who have traveled to the moon returned safely to Earth.

Astronauts fly in rockets to the moon. They need to wear special clothing and masks so they can breathe because there is no oxygen in the solar system.
Yes, astronauts wear seat belts.

Because you need turpentine to remove moon dust should the astronauts get it on their hands.

they wear them to hold them down because there is no gravity in space they are called gravity boots
they are called astronauts and they wear big outerspace suits and they walk on the moon.
OBVIOUSLY
