Apollo 1 and her crew were destroyed in an electrical fire on board the spacecraft during a training session while on the launch pad. Gus Grissom, Ed White - the first US citizen to walk in space, and Roger Chaffee lost their lives within minutes, well before anyone could open the cumbersome hatch or even get close enough to the craft due to the intense heat.
The training session had been plagued with problems, and Grissom was furious at the multiple problems the craft had. After the fire, the entire craft design was overhauled and the extra safety features quite likely preserved the Apollo 13 mission when the cabins became saturated in condensation, and it is thought the attention to insulating the wiring after the Apollo 1 fire prevented serious problems on Apollo13.
A cabin fire erupted during a pre-launch test in 1967, tragically killing astronauts Gus Grissom, Ed White, and Roger Chaffee. The fire was caused by an electrical fault and oxygen environment inside the spacecraft. The accident led to significant design changes in the Apollo program to enhance crew safety.
Apollo 1 was launched on February 21, 1967
Apollo 1 was not an actual program, it was a scheduled mission as part of the Apollo Program. Apollo 1 had a scheduled launch date of February 21, 1967.
There were a total of 17 Apollo missions, numbered from Apollo 1 to Apollo 17.
No one. After the fire of Apollo 1, all missions up to Apollo 6 included were unmanned test flights.

Birth of Apollo (in which Artemis assisted Leto, her mother: Apollo proved to be her ally and equal and few think of Artemis without Apollo)
The world watched with joy and amazement, at this historical moment.

There was no Apollo 1 , only three astronauts got burnt to death, but I do not think it was a numbered as Apollo 1.

I think it was the Apollo 1 because there have been more than 1 Apollo there have been about 17 Apollo's and Apollo 13 was called the successful failure

It was the Apollo 1 and Apollo 13.
what happened was that a coil got damaged and caused an explosion in one of the many oxygen tanks. this happened in April 13, 1970
