Stony and Gas Giant. But it still divides the same.
the outter planets are made of gas
Earth is an inner planet because it has an atmosphere. Earth Rocks!
Inner planets are closer to the sun than the outer planets. Inner planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. The outer planets are Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, and Jupiter (and maybe Pluto. The inner and outer planets are separated by a large distance and an asteroid belt. The inner planets are "rocky" the outer planets are gaseous (with the exception of Pluto.
Because the outer planets are gas giants except for Pluto. Pluto is an outer planet because it is the object (planet) that kept interfering with Neptune's orbit. Pluto is one on hundreds of thousands of meteoroids that a around the size of our moon.
These are the "outer planets." They are outside the asteroid belt which seperates the outer and inner planets. The asteroid belt itself is believed to be another planet which was torn apart by Jupiter's gravitational pull. Lastly, all of the outer planets with the exception of Pluto are called gas giants due to the fact they do not have a solid rocky crust like the inner planets. Pluto has recently been downgraded from a planet due to its size as well as its odd orbit.

the inner planets are closer to other thingsbut outter plannets are not
The inner planets are the first 4 planets from the sun, they are made of rock. After the in er planets is an asteroid belt. Behind the belt are the 4 outter planets. They are made of gas and are called "gas giants". These are called outter planets.
inner are terestrial and outter are jovian
The Outter Planets
the outter planets are made of gas
The asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. :)
the 4 inner planets are rock planets and the 4 outter planets are gas planets separated by the asteroid belt
Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune!
Outter solar system planets
I do no know what the inner planets share but the outer planets except Pluto are gas giants. inner our "rocky" ^_^
They're all in orbit around the same star.
