The word used to describe knowledge about the universe is "cosmology." It encompasses the study of the origin, evolution, and eventual fate of the universe. The process of obtaining that knowledge is often referred to as "cosmological research" or "cosmological inquiry."
Another term often used for dark energy is "cosmological constant." This concept refers to the unknown form of energy that permeates space and accelerates the expansion of the universe. It is a key component in modern cosmology and helps explain observations of distant supernovae and the large-scale structure of the universe.
A theory of the origin and formation of the universe (the cosmos).
Einstein used approximation methods in working out initial predictions of the theory. Einstein later declared the cosmological constant the biggest blunder of his life.
A cosmological decade represents a factor of 10 difference in time scale. In terms of years, one cosmological decade is 10 times the previous decade. So, for example, if one decade is 10 years, the next would be 100 years, then 1,000 years, and so on.

The Kalām Cosmological Argument was created in 1979.
The Kalām Cosmological Argument has 216 pages.

Apparently not much, because after all the astronomical, cosmological, and relativistic observations made for hundreds of years, the mere existence of another universe can neither be confirmed nor disproved.
The big bang theory is a cosmological model. Is this really the question you are trying to ask?
The current value of the cosmological constant in the universe is estimated to be around 10-29 g/cm3.
The "cosmological constant".
As far as I understand, the Big Bang theory is not a challenge to the cosmological argument at all. The cosmological argument states that there must have been a beginning to the universe, which is confirmed by modern science. The cosmological argument further is often held to indicate that that beginning must have been an intelligent agent, which is neither confirmed nor denied by cosmology.
