Best Answer

The Earth pulls on the Moon, and the Moon pulls on the Earth.

The Sun pulls on the Moon, and the Moon pulls on the Sun.

Mars pulls on the Moon (ever so slightly) and the Moon pulls on Mars.

Your body pulls on the Moon (hardly measurable, but it does) and the Moon pulls on your body.

The Moon and Sun and Earth's gravity pull (and push) Earth's oceans, and the ocean "tides" are the results.

Any object experiences a gravitational force on the moon, just as it does on earth.

The force on the moon is about 16% of what it is on earth.

What are the forces of going to the moon?

gravitational force is the force that goes on to the moon.

What is the ratio of force measurement on the moon?

Force is force. Whether it is measured on the moon or elsewhere: it is mass*acceleration (in the direction of the force).

What is the centripetal force holding the moon into Earth?

The force that holds the moon in place is gravity. Without gravity, there wouldn't be a moon.

What is the most gravity force that creates tides?

The moon is the major source of tides on the Earth, followed by the Sun.

How would the motion of the moon change with no centripital force?

the moon rotates around the earth. The force keeping it in orbit around the earth aka the centripital force is caused by the gravitational force between the moon and the earth. If the gravitational force and thus the centripital force dissapeared, the moon would fly off tangent to its circular orbit

An object has a mass of 180 kg on the moon What is the force of gravity?

The object's force on the moon's surface is 294N

What does the moon sound like?

Nothing, the moon doesn't sound like anything because there is no living force, or any force that can make sound on the moon.

What the force on the spacecraft and force on the moon?

There are various forces acting on them, but a few forces which significantly decide their motion are: 1. On moon: Gravitational force due to earth and sun 2. On spacecraft: Gravitational force due to earth, moon and sun

What is the force on the Moon's surface compared to the force of gravity on earths surface?

The moon's gravity is about 1/6th of the earth's.

Does Earth exert a contact or a non-contact force on the moon?

Earth exerts a non-contact force on the moon.

What force keeps a planet or moon in its orbit?

GravityCentripetal Force.

Why does earth exerts a greater force than the moon?

There are two reasons: The Earth is more massive than the Moon, and the Earth is closer to you than the Moon. If you were standing on the Moon, then the force of gravity due to the Moon would be greater because you are closer to the Moon.
