The Kuiper Belt is the home of short-period comets. Its INNER radius is about 30 AU; its outer radius is a matter of conjecture because we can't really image it. Too-small bodies too far away; we know it's there on account of the comets. Changes are it sort of merges (in a really thinned-out way) with the Inner Oort Cloud, home of the long-period comets.
