If you want to see them as they actually appear to us, just go outdoors on a clear night. For very good presentations on the wonders of the sky, check out your local planetarium. A planetarium is a theater. Wonderful things are projected onto the domed ceiling, and some planetarium presentations can be breathtaking. If you have never been to one, put it on your 'must do' list.
