Although each of the four gas giants has a ring system, Saturn's ring system is by far the most spectacular, and known as 'THE' ringed planet. There are multiple planets with rings; Saturn has the most with over 1000, but Uranus, Jupiter, and Neptune also has rings, but they aren't noticed as easily as Saturn.
Our solar system has four ringed planet. They are the four gas giants Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Saturn's ring system is by far the most pronounced of the four. They were first observed in 1610 and can be seen from Earth's surface with a weak telescope.
Saturn is often referred to as the "ringed planet" due to its prominent system of rings made up of ice and rock particles. It is named after the Roman god of agriculture and time. Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun in our solar system and is known for its distinctive yellowish color.
