the hole made by meteors craters
I think there are called craters. I thinks so dont take my word for it.
The holes are called craters. They are the sites of impact of meteors and meteorites. The walls of the holes consist of dust thrown up and out by the impact.
The holes in the moon are called craters. To find the name of famous moon craters go to wikipedia.
Meteors are named after the location where they appear to originate from in the sky, known as the radiant point. For example, the Perseid meteor shower is named after the constellation Perseus, as the meteors seem to originate from that area in the sky.
The holes you see on the moon are actually impact craters caused by asteroids and meteoroids hitting its surface. Over billions of years, the moon has been bombarded by these space rocks, creating the varied landscape we see today.
They're craters - made by meteors crashing on the moon
both are natural holes in the ground. calderas are made by volcanoes ad craters are made by things that crash into Earth like meteors
Meteors crash into the moon and leave the holes there
This is because meteors hit the moon and cause craters.
Black holes, stars, planets, proto-planets, large and small agglomerates (comets, meteors, interstellar dust), gas clouds.

This can vary a lot between different meteors; the main classification, if I remember correctly, is between "ice meteors" that are made up mainly of ice, and "rock meteors", out of rocky materials.
Meteors hit earth, holes have been found
Dark matter, dark energy, nebulae, stars, black holes, planets, comets, asteroids, meteors, satellites, supernovas etc. make up an elliptical galaxy.
