Spring tides.
When the moon is at positions A and C, which are aligned with the sun, spring tides occur due to the combined gravitational pull of both the moon and the sun, resulting in higher high tides and lower low tides. Conversely, when the moon is at position F, which is at a right angle to the line between the Earth and the sun, neap tides occur, leading to lower high tides and higher low tides. Thus, positions A and C correspond to spring tides, while position F corresponds to neap tides.
Christiaan Huygens, born April 14, 1629 and died July 8, 1695, was a prominent Dutch mathematician, astronomer, physicist and horologist. His work included early telescopic studies elucidating the nature of the rings of Saturn and the discovery of its moon Titan, the invention of the pendulum clock and other investigations in timekeeping, and studies of both optics and the centrifugal force.
During a full moon, you would expect to experience spring tides. This occurs because the gravitational forces of the moon and the sun align, resulting in higher high tides and lower low tides. The increased gravitational pull causes the water levels to rise and fall more dramatically than usual.
An Oceanographer!
Oceanography.
An oceanographer is the type of scientist who measures tides, currents, and waves. They study the physical and biological aspects of the ocean, including its movements and dynamics. Oceanographers use various tools and technologies to collect data on tides, currents, and waves to better understand and predict the behavior of the ocean.
If you are meaning the light spectrum, Physicists study all forms of light and waves and what they do.
A mineralogist studies minerals.
An ecologist studies pollution
The kind of scientist who studies Urology would be a Biologist, since Urology concerns a biological function (urination). If you mean the kind of doctor who studies Urology, that would be a Urologist.
