The only layer I could think of would be the Thermosphere. The reason why this part of the atmosphere is so hot is that it is the top layer of the atmosphere.

The ozone layer can be found in the stratosphere. It protects us from the UV rays.
Any suddenly opening appearing in the skin of the spacecraft would allow the atmosphere inside the craft to escape out into space - causing decompression.
A majority of the layers have ozone. But the layer you would find the most is in the Stratosphere. It is a proven fact that this layer has the most ozone.
