I think this is because they are boring and want to no wht happens on other planets and it was a mistery so they tried to discover it.
This question is remains unanswered. There is evidence of frozen water, small oxygen levels and some prehistoric fossils. This piece of evidence concludes that there was life on Mars. Obviously scientists will need more evidence before they are able to decide on if Mars has life.
The trapped gases identify the meteorites as Martian in the first place, because their abundance closely matches the gases identified by probes on Mars. The gas composition would also be based on the constituents of the Martian atmosphere (and possibly the planetary crust) at the time the meteors were ejected from the Martian surface. Compared to the current conditions on Mars, this could also give an indication of how the Martian climate and geology has been changing over time.
its possible, but projects like that wont come around anytime soon.
He could not prove how they moved he died before they considered his hypothesis
Scientists are now largely convinced that there is indeed one at the centre of the galaxy... the evidence indicates a compact high-mass object there; if it's not a black hole, we don't know what else it could be.
So far Earth. They do have robots on Mars so they could be evidence.
It could be evidence.
In 1956 Vine convinced the United States goverment that scientists needed deep-diving vessels that could hold small crews.
The evidence for JJ Thomson was that the plum pudding model could not predict why atoms absorbed and emitted spectral lines.

They are important because they take the evidence that was found and they do tests on it and sometimes they can find more evidence, for example: they could find a finger print or they could find fibres that are important to the investigation.
they couldn t find fossil evidence
Christopher Columbus was convinced that he could reach Asia by sailing west.
Meteorites could be the non-accreted material of which Earth was formed, or possibly the remnants of planetesimals, either of which could reveal details as to the composition of Earth.
Scientists have been researching this for a while now, and there is more and more supporting evidence saying it could be possible.
Alfred Wegener did not have the "HOW" factor- because of no evidence on the process, they could not believe his theory.
