Jupiter is the planet that has the most known moons in our solar system.

There are at least 66 moons or moonlets, as well as a faint 'ring' system of small rocks and dust.

Saturn on the other hand has 62 moons with confirmed orbits, 2 unconfirmed moons (S/2004 S6 and S/2004 S3/S4) and around 150 confirmed moonlets.

So, you could say Saturn has the most moons. (Many of them are connected with its rings.) It appears there is some debate about this issue. While Jupiter has the most (and largest) moons, Saturn has many smaller ones in the rings.

Just as with planets, it depends on how small an object is defined as a separate 'moon', or a 'moonlet'. Until very recently, this was not a major concern because the smallest moons were undetectable from Earth.

So far, Jupiter is in the lead with 66 moons; however, each space probe to visit Jupiter has discovered additional moons, and it is likely that a few of the smaller ones may have escaped observation so far.
