Every place gets most light during its summer season, in the northern hemisphere it starts in June.
It is Winter in the northern hemisphere.
The northern hemisphere leans away from the sun the most on "Winter solstice", around December 21. This is the official start of Winter in the northern hemisphere, although the earth is slightly closer to the sun than it is in the Summer.
From March 21 until about September 21, the Earth's northern hemisphere is tilted towardthe sun, and receives more sun light on any day than the southern hemisphere does.
The southern hemisphere is tilted toward the sun when it is winter in the northern hemisphere. This is because Earth's axis is tilted, causing the opposite hemisphere to receive more direct sunlight during winter in the northern hemisphere.
At both the winter and summer solstices, the Earth is tilted towards the sun. What differs is which hemisphere is tilted towards the sun. In the northern hemisphere at its winter solstice, the southern hemisphere is tilted towards the sun, while the northern hemisphere it tilted away from the sun. In the southern hemisphere at its winter solstice, the northern hemisphere is tilted towards the sun, while the southern hemisphere it tilted towards the sun. When it is the winter solstice in one hemisphere, it is the summer solstice is in the other hemisphere. For a winter solstice, that particular hemisphere is tilted away from the sun.
The sun.
winter
well if you say it that way, it depend which hemisphere you live in. We live in the northern hemisphere, so the sun rays strike to the southern hemisphere.
yeah the sun does rise in the northern hemisphere
If it is winter in the northern hemisphere, the southern hemisphere will get more of the sun's radiation.
When The northern hemisphere Or Southern Hemisphere Is Tilted Away From The Sun
if you dont know tell someone who knows ............ ************************************************ When northern hemisphere tilts towards the sun, it is summer in the northern hemisphere, and winter in the southern hemisphere. The seasons reverse when the northern hemisphere tilts away from the sun. The angle that the sun's rays strike the earth's surface, decides the seasons.

Summer
They are related to seasons because of the tilt. When the Earth tilts the sun faces the Southern Hemisphere so since the nothern hemisphere has no light we have summer in the southern, but when the sun moves in to the northern hemisphere we have winter.
When the North Pole points more directly towards the sun, the Northern Hemisphere is in summer.
The sun is below the northern horizon at midnight in the Northern Hemisphere.
