The sun is a star, so sooner or later it would die out. What would happen is the centre of the sun will get smaller and hotter. Outer layers will be pushed out further by this increased heat, so it'll grow in size. Becoming a Giant Red Star, it will grow to about a hundred times its size and will swallow up Mercury! Then, the sun would shrink to about no bigger than our Earth, changing its color from red to white and becoming a White Dwarf. After all that trouble, it would lose all its energy and heat to become a cold dark body, called a Black Dwarf, giving off no light or heat.
But don't worry, this wouldn't happen 'till thousands of millions of years later. So relax, it wouldn't affect you.
Nothing will really happen to the earth per say because the sun will never be able to become something like a black hole, but if it does blow up it will more than likely kill all the inhabitants of earth and of other planets that may (or may not) produce life in the next couple of billion years.
The Earth will not blow up. It will, however, be consumed when the Sun expands into a red giant in 4-5 billion years.
An eclipse occurs when one object in space is in the shadow of another. For example, in a solar eclipse, the Earth is in the shadow of the Moon. That is, the Moon is between the Sun and the Earth and all three are lined up.
No, the sun is too bug to fall into the earth. The sun has used up approximately half of its life. In another 4 billion years or so, the sun will expand to become a red giant. When it does, the earth will be swallowed up by the sun.
Water is added to the atmosphere through a process called evaporation. This happens when the sun heats up water on the surface of the Earth.
The Sun shines on the Earth and Moon, and each cast a shadow straight out into space. When the Moon goes into the Earth's shadow - when the Sun, Earth and Moon are lined up exactly - we have a lunar eclipse.
yea they do when one blows up a chain reaction happens earth will go second
Maybe when the sun blows up but not in the foreseeable future.
It blows up BOOM!It blows up BOOM!
The moon, Earth, and sun line up. We, Earth, see the moon in front of the sun, blocking it, and it forms a halo shape light.
nothing because even if venus blows up nothing will happen to the earth
You have Spring Tides
A Supernova.
The Earth will not blow up. It will, however, be consumed when the Sun expands into a red giant in 4-5 billion years.
The Sun will probably not simply "blow up"; it will gradually become larger, until about 5 billion years from now, it will be a red giant - and, assuming that Earth is not swallowed up by the Sun, it will become too hot here on Earth for any life.
Until monkeys take over. Or until the sun blows up in like a jillion gazillion years...
it blows up.
It blOwS Up.
