Apollo 13 was supposed to land in the Fra Mauro region of the Moon. However, due to an oxygen tank explosion, the mission had to be aborted, and the spacecraft slingshotted around the Moon to return safely to Earth.

The crew of Apollo 13 was supposed to land in the hilly uplands region called Fra Mauro. However, due to an oxygen tank explosion on the spacecraft, their mission was aborted, and they had to circle around the moon and return to Earth without landing.
The Apollo 11 went to the moon and returned safely to earth. But Apollo 13, did not land on the moon, as it exploded on the way to the moon, but it returned safely.
