The Seven Sisters is a small grouping of stars better known as the Pleiades, in the constellation Taurus. It is a group of six to seven stars (with the naked eye) and about 36 stars (with binoculars) easily viewable on any clear night in the wintertime or very early spring. At this date of writing (3/18/11) it is almost too late to see them clearly, but they are near the western horizon at nine PM. In mythology, the Pleiades were the seven daughters of Atlas. The ideal time to see them is December to February.
