Yes there was. It was a well known Swiss watch company that was in existence at least 1920s to 1950s. It produced a very good automatic movement mans watch called the Geneve with 25 jewels in the '50s. I have one and it keeps perfect time. Probably now they are not of great value and whether or not the factory was taken over or folded with the advent of quartz movements - which happened to many of the Swiss factories of the 50s/60s.
