When the earth is between the moon and the sun occurs?

When the earth is between the moon and the sun, a full moon occurs. In the less common instance when the Earth is between the moon and the sun and all three are in line, a lunar eclipse occurs.

HAS THERE ever been a full moon for 6 weeks?

Nope. It's impossible to have one phase of the moon for more than three days.

What are the order of the phase?

A phase sequence test is performed before running a motor if the direction is critical. In a deep well the pump, it can be several 100 feet from the motor and driven by dozens of rods threaded together. Iit can be a bit of a hassle to haul it all back up and thread it all back together. You can do a dry run with the motor to make sure its the correct direction before hooking up the coupling. You can label the wires before you pull them or bury them. You can make a phase sequence meter with a light bulb a capacitor and a coil. Put it on a source known to be 123 and label your wires 123 if the bulb lights. There are some manufactured meters that have a light for 123 and 132, that way you can switch labels rather than wires. Also, on the nice ones you can put it on the motor and turn it it the direction you want it to turn and call the wires 123. But, since most motors have the wires already labeled its probably better to label the switch correctly. Phase sequence is more important in a parallel operation of two sources of Electricity. The phase sequence has to be same before a successful parallel operation. It is not enough to check the sequence only on the motor direction. Use the meter or bulb method to ensure the right sequence.

Which phase is the moon when it passes between Earth and the sun?

That happens at New Moon and it is the time for a solar eclipse when those three objects line up exactly.

What are the phase of themoon and what do they look like?

The first phase is a new moon, that is when you can't see the moon at all. Next is a waxing crescent, that is when the moon looks a bit like a banana. The next phase is a half moon (which in space it is actually a quarter moon but in Earth it looks like a half moon) is when the moon is right down the middle. Next is a waxing gibbous, which is when it is nearly full (3 quarters). The next phase is the full moon which is when you can see all the moon reflecting from the Sun. The next phase is a waning gibbous is when the moon is three quarters again but it is facing the other way because its getting smaller. The next phase is the half moon again but facing the other way. The next phase is a waning crescent Moon which is when the moon looks like a banana again but facing the other way. The next phase is back to the new moon when you can see nothing again. That is all the phases of the moon and it take about 28 days to do that while orbiting the earth.

What phase of mitosis do the chromosomes replicate?

Strictly speaking, the chromosomes are not copied during mitosis but already before cell division takes place. This phase is called INTERPHASE and is again divided into three phases, G1 (first gap), S (synthesis), and G2 (second gap). The replication of chromosomes only happens in the S phase.

What are the three types of phase on its final phase?

single phase, double phase & three phase

Why floating neutral in a three phase supply is undesirable?

Floating neutral in 3 phase supply is undesirable as if the same thing occurs then there will be bad effect for all single phase equipment which we are using as phase to neutral voltage will exceed from its normal value and it will harm the equipments.

Two phase instruments?

There is no such thing as a two phase instrument. There is only single phase and three phase. You can only have: single phase/ one pole single phase/ two pole three phase/ three pole

Single phase and three phase circuit?

Yes, there is a difference between single phase and three phase circuits.

Which of the three stages of interphase does DNA replicate?

Interphase is only one phase of the cell cycle, which is composed of: G1, S, G2 and M phases. DNA replication occurs during the S phase of the cell cycle

Is three phase is ac or dc?

Three phase is ac

How do you start a three phase motor to a single phase power supply?

You don't. A three phase motor will not start unless it is connected to a three phase supply.

How do you use a one phase motor in place of a three phase motor?

To use a single/one phase motor instead of a three phase motor is possible if you have a three phase power supply as you will only need to tap one of the three phases together with neutral and an earthwire, however to use a three phase motor instead of a single phase will require the provision of three phase power supply.

What are the phases of the menstrual cycle?

The menstrual cycle has three phases:1) Menstruation - this is when bleeding occurs due to the shedding of the endometrium (the uterine lining).2) Follicular phase - this is when the follicles develop. The follicle contains a single ovum, or egg. At the end of this phase ovulation occurs, which is when the egg is released from the follicle.3) Luteal phase - during which the corpus luteum forms. This phase can end with either pregnancy or the degradation of the corpus luteum.
