if your definition of escaping earth's gravity mean that the earth is no lnger the single most influencial source of gravity than the answer is:
a three way tie between James (Jim) lovell, Frank Borman and Willian (Bill) Anders on the Apollo 8 mission.
If you mean the first persons to escape the earth-moon system than the answer is:
No one, no human has left the earth-moon systems' gravitational influence
The first human spaceflight was undertaken on April 12, 1962, when cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin made one orbit around the Earth aboard the Vostok 1 spacecraft launched by the Soviet Union. The above answer I copied from this site : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_spaceflight
Yes; gravity keeps them in orbit in the first place.Yes; gravity keeps them in orbit in the first place.Yes; gravity keeps them in orbit in the first place.Yes; gravity keeps them in orbit in the first place.
Anybody who lives on Earth experiences gravity.
Newton was the first to mention the idea but others made changes to what is called gravity. Einstein is one of these.
Basically, A extreme amount of thrust must be first produced for the rocket to reach the excessive hight needed. Once it's reached the speed needed it can easily breach the Earths Ozone layer.
Gravity causes older people to shrink. Answer Had to chuckle at the first answer though it is not true. Gravity is that force , said to originate from the center of the earth, which affects everything within its influence by attracting it to the earths center. Luckily we have a hard mantle beneath our feet that prevents this from happening.

First: The earths core is not molten, it is a very dense solid mass, kept solid by the intense pressure on it. Second: It is the layer around this core that is molten, and yes it does influence gravity, but more so earths magnetism.
First you have to open your console which is the button under escape, what you wanna do next is type in sv_gravity then any number under 800 (800= normal gravity) Hope this helped
The first man to study gravity was Isaac Newton..
first go to flonga.com
The force of gravity on the second apple would be 2N, as gravity exerts a force that is directly proportional to the mass of the object and the distance from the center of the Earth. Since the second tree is twice as tall as the first one, the force of gravity acting on the apple at the top of the second tree would be doubled.
First of all, it is not persons it is PEOPLE!
The first fire escape was invented in England in 1784 by Daniel Maseres. Of course, that fire escape was nothing like the type of fire escape that we are familiar with today.
Isaac Newton was the first british scientist to describe gravity.
