The sun is a massive star made up of gas and will not go to heaven or hell as these are religious concepts associated with the afterlife for humans. The sun will eventually exhaust its fuel supply and expand into a red giant before collapsing into a white dwarf.
The giant impact hypothesis suggests that the Moon formed from debris generated by a massive collision between the early Earth and a Mars-sized body, often referred to as Theia. Key supports for this hypothesis include the similarities in isotopic compositions of Earth and Moon rocks, indicating a shared origin, as well as computer simulations that demonstrate how such an impact could produce a Moon with the observed size and orbit. Additionally, the Moon's relatively small iron core compared to Earth's supports the idea that it formed from material that was primarily part of the Earth's outer layers, which would have been ejected during the impact.
The plural of heaven is heavens.
On Giant's Shoulders was created in 1979.

resting on the shoulders of four elephants standing on the back of a giant turtle floating aimlessly through space
The Mighty - based on the book "Freak the Mighty"
Often mistakenly thought to be Atlas, but Atlas actually supports the heavens, not the earth. Though he is seen in sculptures supporting a globe, this has no basis in any Greek mythology. I cannot recall ever hearing the world itself being supported by something or someone, other than perhaps Terry Pratchett's Discworld series of books, where Discworld, a large, flattened disc of land and water, is supported by four elephants on the back of a giant turtle named Great A'Tuin. Yes, Atlas was the brother of Prometheus and Epimetheus, son of Iapetus and Clymene.
