Buzz Aldrin was the one who piloted the Lunar Module. Armstrong was on board it too.
The Apollo 13 Command Module was 'Odyssey' . Aquarius was the Lunar lander.
The two main parts of the Apollo 13 spacecraft were the Command Module (nicknamed "Odyssey") and the Lunar Module (nicknamed "Aquarius"). The Command Module was used for reentry into Earth's atmosphere, while the Lunar Module was used as a lifeboat after an oxygen tank explosion damaged the Command Module.
The Lunar Module was named Eagle and the Command Module was named Colombia
The two main parts of the spacecraft Apollo 11 were the Command Module (Columbia) and the Lunar Module (Eagle). The Command Module housed the crew during their journey to and from the moon, while the Lunar Module allowed them to land on and take off from the lunar surface.
The Apollo Lunar Module was designed to transport astronauts from lunar orbit to the moon's surface and back. It served as the "landing craft" for the Apollo missions, providing a safe way for astronauts to land on the moon, explore its surface, and then return to the Command Module in lunar orbit.
The command module for Apollo 13 was called Aquarius. The lunar module was called Aquarius.

The Apollo spacecraft has three modules the Service module, the command module and the lunar module.

The Command Module was called Columbia ( the lunar module was named Eagle.)
The Apollo spacecraft consisted of multiple components. The command module (CM) was where the crew lived and operated during the mission. The service module (SM) provided propulsion, power, and life support. The lunar module (LM) was used to land on the moon and return to the command module.
They were just not built to do it... too heavy, no legs, etc. Command Modules do not land on the moon. The command module is the main capsule for the Apollo program. The lunar module of Apollo 11 however did land on the moon on the 21st of July 1969.
Service Module, Command Module, Lunar Module.
The proper names of the Apollo Program's spacecraft, and as such should be capitalized, are: Apollo Command Module (abbreviated CM) Apollo Service Module (abbreviated SM) Apollo Lunar Module (abbreviated LM) Note that when the CM and SM are joined, they become a single spacecraft known as the Apollo Command/Service Module, or CSM.
