Aristarchus was the first person to think so, some time around 400 BCE. Copernicus came up with the idea next, and his writings convinced Bruno and Galileo. Galileo wrote a book about the sun centered "solar" system. Bruno was burned to death for his heresy.

this is an incomplete question. what it should be is something similar to "who discovered planitary motion?" if this is what you're seeking, then the person is Johannes Kepler. he confirmed that copernicus's Heliocentric Theory was accurate. he also discovered that planets revolved in eliptical (oval-like) orbits instead of circular ones.

The original people to discover the Orion were probably the Babylonians or the Greeks because they were the first to name the constellations but it really never said who specifically because it was so long ago
