Gene Cernan and Harrison Schmitt left in the same vessel, but Cernan was the last one inside, so probably him (in the same way that Neil Armstrong was the "first" man on the moon despite landing at the same time Buzz Aldrin did; Armstrong was the first to set foot on the surface).

This was 40 years ago, by the way, which is a crying shame.

11th December 1972, lift off from the moon 14th December 1972 on Appolo 17, the lander was Challenger. The landing site was Taurus-Littrow Valley and the crew was Eugene Cernan and Harrison Schmitt. As Eugene was the first out, Harrison was the LAST man to arrive on the moon, but Eugene was the last man to leave.
