A meteorite shower is a good example of why this is. Those bright lights are caused when small space rocks burn up in Earth's atmosphere. On the moon, there is no atmosphere, so all the rocks that impact it leave a mark.
Also, if a meteorite hits Earth, its size has been severely shrunk from burning in the atmosphere, so they leave smaller craters here. Thus on the moon, the craters are both more numerous and larger.
Short answer: the atmosphere on Earth burns the rocks up.
i dont no sooo dont ask me aha
There is a large version (the version found in the show) and smaller, less expensive version that the artist refers to as the 'baby star and moon'. http://www.melindamariajewelry.com/catalog2/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=13&products_id=456 Sooo pretty. :)
well the Earth is not exactly the same to other planets actually, it is the same because they're all parts of the solar system and they pretty much spin in the same direction but their features/characteristics are not much similar. Neither it is in size nor in appearance sooo....Hope this helps !!
yea the answer is sirus and that is beacuase alex .g said sooo
That is currently unknown. However, based on the planets found so far it seems there are at least as many planets as stars. Current estimates suggest 100 billion to 400 billion planets in our galaxy.
people say it would expode but i dont think sooo God would make it ot explodethe moon is hit by meteorites all the time. if you have a decent telescope and a clear night you can actually see the impact craters.
