Well there are probably a few answers for this question. One reason is the temperature on Mars. The temperature on Mars can reach -184˚F on long polar nights which, needless to say, is far to cold for any human being. The mean temperature on mArs is -51˚F. Also, there is oxygen on Mars just not enough to sustain life, but when getting oxygen from Earth it would never run out unless of course all plant life died. If we just established a structure on Mars that is suitable for life than you can create oxygen. Just sayin'. But we can't live on Mars currently because Mars has no magnetic field to protect us from cosmic radiation, much less atmospheric pressure than here on Earth meaning if we stepped outside of the human structure on Mars we would need a space suit because our body would swell up. Just like how we can't live in water, not enough oxygen and if you go deep enough theres too much pressure and you would die.
Humans cannot permanently live Mars with current technology because the atmosphere of Mars is very thin, and it is made up of mostly carbon dioxide. Also, Mars can have nice 70-degree days, but many times it is below freezing.
There is no oxygen or food also mars has some nice days that are 70 degrees but mostly it is below freezing the problem isn't going to mars it is coming back because you couldn't use the same rocket to go and come back from mars. i hope this answers your question!!!
There are many challenges to go to space such as our body is made to adapt living on earth and not Mars. -Millie
There isn't any proved source of water, and the gravitational pull is too weak. The atmosphere is also to thin to protect us from any extra-terrestrial impact, such as that of a meteor. There is also the lack of oxygen for the human population to survive on.
Because, Mars doesn't have enough atmosphere to hold enough oxygen in to make enough pressure for us to walk on it without space suits. It's too cold, also. And they'res not enough breathable oxygen.
Due to the lack of oxygen and to the very low temperature.
Comment: If the questioner really meant in Mars, then the temperature would be high. If the questioner meant on Mars, then low temperatures are the problem.
Yes, thanks for the rectification. I didn't notice the negative mark before 143º F.
Well, at the moment, human habitation of Mars would be difficult - there is very little atmosphere to breathe, not a whole lot of water, and it's colder than all get out. This is not to say that SOMEDAY, humans will not be able to colonize Mars - but at the moment, it's not possible. We haven't even sent astronauts there yet, and when we do, it will take a long time for the trip - nearly a year at current speeds...
because of the atmosphere and it's temperatures and the oxygen.
bob
Mars is way to gassy for a human Couple of reasons we cannot survive, Mars has a carbon dioxide atmosphere and no oxygen also Mars has no magnetic field so it has no protection from cosmic radiation a human would receive doses as high as 500 rads per hour (lethal dose)
i don't know try it yourself or go to a library of Mars.
After Earth, Mars is the most likely planet that life will survive in. This is because Mars has polar ice caps and weather. Mars is also reddish due to rusting of the iron-rich minerals on its surface.
Mars. Because they have found worms on Mars. which means there is water because otherwise worms would not survive.
Nobody from Earth has planted a foot on Mars. Yet.
No
No because they have no oxygen in mars
no there is no oxygen on mars and no water
Unless humans figure out a way to create artificial air, we would never survive on Mars.
no because you need oxygen and in Mars
No a Moonflower is a plant, and plants need water to survive.
you cant
We are not aware of any aliens on Mars or anywhere else.
Well are anybody living there now???? Well are anybody living there now????
The same things we need to survive here on earth.
Water
Certainly they wont.
