Because it is a challenge man hasn't overcome yet. We as a species are still in our infancy. We must move forward into the vastness of space so that we continue to expand our knowledge, and move closer to our potential.

Humans can currently live on Earth, as it provides the necessary conditions for human life such as oxygen, water, and suitable temperature. There are ongoing efforts to explore the possibility of living on other planets like Mars, but at present, Earth is the only known planet where humans can live.
No. Humans only live on Earth. There is likely no life at all on Mars.
No, we currently cannot. Humans cannot permanently live on Mars with current technology because the atmosphere of Mars is very thin, and it is made up of mostly carbon dioxide. Also, Mars can have nice 70-degree days, but many times it is below freezing.
Humans may need to colonize Mars and the Jovian moons because in millions of years Earth may lose its habitability. Eventually, the people of Earth may have to find other places to live, in the solar system and beyond. Once colonies are set up, recycling and technology should enable planetary colonies to be relatively self-sufficient.
Mars is considered the most inhabitable planet for humans after Earth. It has some similarities to Earth, such as a day length slightly longer than Earth's and a thin atmosphere containing some elements needed for life. Efforts are underway to explore the possibility of human colonization on Mars in the future.
We do not live in Mars, we live in the Earth.
With life support, perhaps. Mars is much colder than Earth, has much less atmospheric pressure, and very little oxygen.
If we were forced to leave earth which we will have to, we would got to Venus. Some say that it used to be possible to live on mars but something hurt it's atmosphere like we are doing. So it may be possible to move on to Venus. A theory is that humans used to live on mars but they corrupted it atmosphere and now we are doing the same to earth.
Earth and mars are totally different. Earth is green and blue. Mars is red & brown. WE live on earth and martitans live on Mars. Mars is not cool but earth is. Earth has living things mars doesnt.!!!!
Humans live on the lithosphere, or the crust, of the earth.
I don't know of anything on Earth that can live there in it's current state.
The Earth is the only planet humans can live on without artificial support 24/7. Humans couls possibly live on Mars, but would need to build airtight accommodation and import all food and heating requirements. I think water has been found underground on Mars.
in my opinion: no i wouldn't want to live on mars. the weather can get really hot because the atmosphere traps heat quickly. and also i would rather live on venus 1) because the time is similar to earth and 2) it seems like a cool planet hahah.
They actually won't. Mars is not a hospitable planet towards biological life as we know it.However, assuming it was, some reasons might be:Overpopulation of our own planetPollutionExploration
scientist have said there is a possibility to live on mars but its not yet proven Mars cannot support human life, the only planet that we are aware of that can is the earth, therefore earth is the best planet to live on. Mars is WAY to cold to live in, Earth is the best place because it is not to far, or to close to the sun. Mars also does not have the gases that are needed for us to live.
