Time proceeds almost exactly as it does on Earth or in the Sun or at Alpha Centauri.

The only thing which might affect you is time dilation, and even then only by nanoseconds. A person who goes to the ISS for a year will return one year older.

Also it is said that time is slower around mass (larger the mass=slower the time) For example if I am standing by a pyramid of great mass and you are 20 miles (any amount of distance) away in the open desert, I am aging slower that you. Therefore if I am on earth (a large amount of mass; far more than empty space) and you are in space, you are aging SLOWER) Opposite to the theory you are mentioning. Look up some of Steven Hawkings shows on the Discovery channel. He explains alot of cool things such as this and all the different theories. And other cool stuff like time travel and the big bang theory. REALLY Fascinating stuff
