It's the way color reflects. An apple may not be red, because color pixils (alldifferent colors ) get absorbed into the thing ( in this case an apple ) and so the apple absorbs one color mostly and that color reflects back to our eyes. I may not have done a good job explaining this.
The sun appears white when viewed from space because it emits all colors of light, which combine to create white light. However, when the sun's light passes through the Earth's atmosphere, it can appear yellow, orange, or red due to scattering of shorter wavelengths of light by particles in the atmosphere.
The sun appears yellow or white when viewed from Earth. This is due to our atmosphere scattering sunlight and making it appear that color.
stars come in a variety of colors. red, bright blue, yellow like our sun and even white. stars come in many different sizes too from 10 times the size of our sun to the size of a small island.
The sun appears yellow due to the Earth's atmosphere scattering shorter blue and violet wavelengths more than longer red, orange, and yellow wavelengths. Stars appear white because their light is a combination of different colors emitted at various intensities, giving them an overall white appearance to our eyes.
The sun's size remains relatively constant, but its color can appear to change due to variations in Earth's atmosphere and the angle of sunlight. The sun is actually white, but its light is composed of various colors which appear as yellow or orange when viewed from Earth.

The stars in outerspace are bright white. Just like the sun. Although they look yellow or an off white, this is only because of the Earth's atmosphere. It is true, stars are white in outerspace but appear yellow.
The sun is not actually a green star; it is classified as a yellow dwarf star. The perception of the sun as white or yellow in the sky is due to its light being a combination of different colors, which appear white when mixed together. The Earth's atmosphere scatters the sunlight, making it appear white to us.
white shoes appear white because it reflects all 7 colours of white light when fallen on to it.Therefore if only yellow light is fallen on to this object it would give out light rays which are yellow in colour . so shoes would appear yellow.
the suns colour is white, allthough from the surface of the earth it may appear yellow because of atmospheric scattering of blue light.
