Black does not attract the sun, it absorbs heat better than other colours, and then will radiate it back out.
Other colours will not absorb the heat as well and will reflect it. That is why so many people wear sunglasses skiing, because the snow is bright because of reflected light and heat.

∙ 13y agoDark objects absorb radiated heat from the sun while light colored objects reflect it. To prove it you can do a experiment where you measure the temperature of two jugs covered with a lid and time it and compare the results like this. measure temperature and time.

∙ 14y agoThe Sun doesn't exactly "attract" black objects. Black objects absorb all the light and heat radiation that falls on them, and hence get heated to a greater extent.
White objects, on the other hand, reflect almost all of the light and heat and hence, get heated to a much smaller degree.
