We do experience the gravity of the moon, as does the entire planet. But since the planet is essentially in freefall with respect to the moon's gravity we feel effectively weightless with respect to the moon.

Now, when standing on the moon, humans do feel its gravity, but its strength is only about 1/6 of that of the Earth, due to its smaller mass.

Do moon have gravity?

Everything has gravity. Your weight on the moon is about 16 percent of what it is on Earth.

How does the moon's gravity affect humans?

The moon's gravity affects humans by causing tides in the oceans and potentially influencing biological rhythms, but its impact on individual humans is minimal due to the Earth's stronger gravitational pull.

Why does a man feel weightless on the moon?

They don't. The moon has gravity but not as much as earth so they feel that they have less weight. In outer space a person would feel weightless because no gravity that they could notice is acting upon them.

Do you feel the sun's gravity more than do the moon's gravity?

I don't stinking know you loser! Why don't you find out?

Do humans weigh the same on the Moon and the Earth?

No, humans weigh less on the Moon than on Earth because the Moon has less gravity. The gravitational force on the Moon is about 1/6th of the gravitational force on Earth, so a person would weigh less on the Moon compared to Earth.

Did the moon move when Armstrong went?

Yes but he didn't feel it because of gravity.

Would i float into space if i were on the moon?

No, you would not float into space on the moon. The moon has gravity, although it is about one-sixth of Earth's gravity. You would still be pulled towards the moon's surface, but you would feel lighter and be able to jump higher compared to on Earth.

How do astronaut's move on the moon compered with the earth?

There is less gravity on the moon than earth. Earth has a lot of gravity which is why things feel heavy and fall as quick as they do. The moon has way, way less gravity therefore it feels like you are weightless and drift a little.

Why you jump on the moon?

Humans were able to jump higher on the moon due to its lower gravity compared to Earth. The moon's gravity is about one-sixth that of Earth, allowing for greater mobility and height in jumps.

Why there is no gravity in moon?

There is gravity on the moon.

How moon produce tides if there is no gravity on moon?

The moon does have gravity. Surface gravity on the moon is about 1/6 what it is on Earth.
