It was on the first Doctor's Tardis, quite a few things from series 5 has been inspired or borrowed from the classic series, the sticker is one them.
At the beginning of the first episode with the 11th doctor, the TARDIS is flying over a city and crashes in a girls back yard, when Matt Smith gets out, the TARDIS needs to be re-stabled. he fixes it. Then the TARDIS won't let him in because it was severely damaged when the 10th doctor regenerated. At the end of the episode the doctor goes in and the new TARDIS is revealed. The new TARDIS has the same outside design but has gained a St Johns logo on the front. The doors open when he clicks his fingers (just like Riversong said) and it reveals a 2 story TARDIS.
Origingally, the TARDIS, while being a police box, didn't actually have a phone that works. The phone in the little box at the front, behind the sign that says Police Telephone For Free Use of Public Advice and Intelligence Obtainable Immediately Officers and Cars Respond to Urgent Calls Pull to Open doesn't actually work. It isn't connected to anything. We do see it ring in the episode the Empty Child, and the Doctor (Nine, at this point) is entirely shocked, because it isn't a phone. However in the redesigned TARDIS in Series 5, it now has a working phone on the inside. The Doctor receives a phone call on it from Winston Churchill. However the number itself is not known. It rings again in Series 7, 'The Bells of St John' - the phone is in fact the titular bell, close to the TARDIS' St Johns Ambulance logo.
HST operations are controlled by the Space Telescope Science Institute on the Johns Hopkins campus in Columbia, MD. Observation time is requested and approved by STSI, and is given primarily to scientists who belong to the countries involved in HST's funding and construction. Small amounts of time (donated by the STSI Director as part of his own discretionary use) has been allocated for amateur astronomers as well, though they still must present a proposal for consideration/scheduling like everyone else.
Many colleges and universities offer astronomy classes. Which you choose is up to you. Some of these colleges include, University of Arizona, Ball State University, and Johns Hopkins University.
-Esther Christine Kist was his wife. Esther Christine Kisk was born on March 31, 1901 in Worcester, MA. After graduating from South High School in Worcester and attending Bates College, she became the secretary of Clark University's president, which is how she met Dr. Goddard. They were married on June 21, 1924. After their marriage, Esther devoted her time to helping her husband record his research. While he worked for the navy during the Second World War, she attended Johns Hopkins University and finished her undergraduate degree there in 1945. After he died, she finished the patenting of his inventions, helped with the publishing of some of his writings, and further publicized his work. She also earned a master's degree from Clark University in 1951, was a trustee of it from 1964 through 1970, and received an honorary degree from the school in 1972. She died in Worcester on June 4, 1982.
It has... slightly. in 1963, when Dr. Who first started, there was a St. Johns ambulance sticker on one of the doors. They then moved it, and they have now replaced it again. The shade of blue is slightly different, too.
