Mercury is hot because it is the closest planet to the Sun, and has no virtually no atmosphere to circulate the heat to the night side (which gets incredibly cold).

Mercury is NOT the warmest planet. Venus is!
Mercury is the closest planet to the sun so the day side reaches extremely high temperatures, while the night side stays cold. The average temperature of those is less than Venus. Mercury has no atmosphere so it cannot keep the heat it receives. Venus has very thick clouds and an atmosphere that is 97% (or more) carbon dioxide. Scientists consider Venus as a runaway greenhouse planet. It traps almost all of the heat it receives which makes it much warmer than Mercury.
Mercury average: 354 degrees F
Venus average: 847 degrees F
there both the two plaet tha is closect to sun and it tempeture is very hot
Venus is the hottest planet, with average surface temperatures of 460°C (860°F)
Mars is the warmest and possibly the cloudyest
The hottest planet is Venus. Mercury may be the closest to the Sun, but it doesn't have the right atmosphere to keep the heat. At night it can go to the negative hundreds!
In our solar system its Venus. Although it's only the second closest planet to the sun after mercury, it has a thick atmosphere which helps to retain it's heat.
Venus is hot because it has a very thick atmosphere that traps in heat, unlike Mercury, one side of which is very hot and the other is really cold.
Mercury is very much hotter.

Venus (even hotter than Mercury)

Venus is the cloudiest and warmest planet!
Venus is the warmest planet in the solar system

Venus because it has an atmosphere and is closer to the Sun than the Earth. It keeps in more heat than Mercury
The heat of the planets decrease the further from the sun they are. Mercury being the warmest planet and Neptune being the coldest.
