The outer planets are very far from each other and from the sun compared to the inner planets. Some of the planets are very small, so if the Sun is scaled down too much, these planets may end up as small dots.
To give an idea of sheer distances, see the Maine Solar System model at the related link below.
The range of sizes and distances is too great. The distance from the Sun to Neptune is about 3200 times as large as the diameter of the Sun itself, so if the Sun is represented by a ball an inch in diameter, the ball representing Neptune would have to be about 270 feet away (and would be about 1mm in diameter). Earth would be about a quarter of that and would be around 9 feet from the "Sun".
In a large classroom, the inner planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars) would fit on this scale, as long as you didn't mind using a dust speck to represent Mercury.
You can use a grapefruit as the sun, a skittle as Jupiter and Saturn peppercorns for Uranus and Neptune, a Mustard Seed for mercury and small sprinkles for Mars, Earth, and Venus.
because the planets are so different in size that it would be like a marble is earth and Jupiter is, oh, a big excercise ball. too different.
Atlas is a triple star system so precise measurements are difficult. Alpha A the main star in the system will have a temperature range of between 10,000 and 30,000 Kelvin
If someone is trying to make a model of the solar system, and the goal is to represent it as it is, scaled-down of course, then there will be one very big problem. The problem would be exactly the scaling. The Sun is significantly larger than any of the planets in the solar system. While the planets
Planets found outside our own solar system are called exo-solar planets or exoplanets. These are in orbit around other stars. It's ver difficult to detect them due to the distances involved, but with modern techniques, over 500 have been confirmed.

The solar system is not part of any other star system. It is part of a galaxy called Milky Way.

Feet and inches would be the most appropriate measurement used to measure a classroom.
It depends, which movie and which system?

Student Response System clickers for the classroom are sold by Irespond and Smart Tech. The clickers can also be found at School Outfitters, Socrative and Top Hat websites.
Classroom clickers; a classroom system response are used to enhance teaching allowing the teacher to ask questions where the students use a device that looks similar to a t.v. remote to press a button for the answer they choose.
