Mars is a smaller planet so the gravity is lower so you would have less pull on your mass so you would weigh less. weight is the measure of gravitational pull on an object.

Would the acceleration due to gravity on mars be bigger or smaller than on earth and why?

Smaller, because Mars is less massive and less dense than Earth.

Why does Mercury and Mars have less gravity than Earth?

Why does Mercury and Mars have less gravity than Earth because they both have less mass than does the Earth.

Is there gravity on Mars less earth?

Yes. The effects of gravety on Mars are less than on Earth. Mars has 37.6% of Earth's gravity.

What happen to the human gravity on Mars?

The planet Mars is smaller than Earth and has a weaker gravitational field. As a result, people on Mars would weigh less than they do on Earth.

Does mars have a strong or weak gravity?

Mars is a lot less massive than Earth. Therefore gravity is less than you would experience on Earth. Gravity on Mars is about 38% that of what you experience on Earth. Therefore is you weigh 100kg on Earth, you would only weigh 38kg on Mars.

Would a earthling feel heavier or lighter on the surface of mars?

As Mars is smaller than earth, and therefore has a lighter gravity, a person would feel lighter on Mars. In fact on Mars you would weigh half as much

Would you be squashed by the extreme gravity on mars?

Mars does not have extreme gravity! It is less than 40% of the earth's gravity.

Why Would your legs break while walking on mars?

You are less likely to break your legs walking on Mars than you are on earth. The gravity on Mars is about one third of that on earth.

Does mars have stronger grtavity than earth or weaker?

Because Mars is a lot less massive than the Earth. The surface gravity depends on the mass of the planet you are standing on, and since Mars is lighter the surface gravity there will be less than here on Earth. The gravitational force between two objects depends on their mass and the distance between their centers of mass. Mars has a smaller radius than the Earth (which would tend to increase the gravitational force), but it has a much smaller mass than the Earth (which tends to decrease the gravitational force). Combining the two factors, it works out that the surface gravity of Mars is about one-third that on Earth.

What is the humidity on earth?

It is less than mars

Does a person weigh less on mars than earth?

On Mars you weigh 30% of what you do on Earth. For example, if you weigh 122lbs on Earth, you would only weigh 46lbs on Mars.

Does mars have 62 times less gravity than earth?

No. The gravity on Mars is about 38% that on Earth. So Mars has about 62 percent less gravity.
