The color of roof shingles typically becomes darker over time due to the accumulation of dirt, algae, moss, and other environmental factors. Additionally, UV exposure can cause some shingles to fade, leading to a lighter appearance in certain cases. However, the overall effect is often a darkening as debris builds up. Regular maintenance can help mitigate these changes.

I have dark hair but know hair pretty well. For example, my friend had blond hair and died it to brown. When you dye hair, the old color goes down to the end of your hair, so it will be lighter on the bottom. If you wash your hair the color will get lighter. If you dye your hair darker when it's light, your hair will be different shades and the dye usually doesn't stay in long. Also dying your hair that aggressively isn't healthy for your hair.

Variances in light can make ones eyes to appear lighter or darker than they really are. Some people have experienced the color of their eyes changing and this can be backed up scientifically. Coloring around the eyes with darker colored makeup can give them impression of darker eyes without actually affecting the eye itself.

For me, (I have blue-ish green-ish eyes) torquoise works best. I usually wear a torquoise shirt. As far as make-up goes, lavender or purple excentuates the eyes. Wear darker purples for lighter eyes are, this will make them stand out more. Ligher purple will make green eyes look softer if they are a darker shade.
