Being gay is down to genetic sequences, so a person is is born gay; they don't later become gay because of how they look.
The simple answer is no, it doesnt make you any less of a man. Sexual preference has nothing to do with masculinity. Men who indentify themselves as gay (homosexual) can can portray masculine traits, just as men who identify themselves as straight (heterosexual) can portray feminine traits. Masculinity and femininity are merely based on gender role stereotypes.
About 5% of all right-handed people are gay, the same percentage as the rest of the population.
They can look like anything. However, gender variance (the variety of genders) could lead to someone dressing or otherwise styling themselves in distinctive fashions. For example, effeminate gays who are open about their sexuality may wear bright colours. They may also speak with a lisp. However, these traits don't necessarily mean that a person is gay, nor is a gay person guaranteed to have any traits at all.
There really are no personality traits that indicate homosexuality, contrary to popular stereotypes. Homosexuals that fit sometimes a variety of stereotypes do indeed exist but unless you catch a man with another man or looking at gay porn you really can't tell.
Androgynous individuals are those who have both male and female traits. Most people are to some extent androgynous since the ascribing of various traits to men and women is rather arbitrary. For example, many men like to cook but this is considered a female preference, even though many of the great chefs of the world are men. Certain ways of dressing and walking are labelled as male or female. Men who wear makeup are considered androgynous for example, but they may or may not be gay any more than women who wear pants instead of skirts are gay.
