The Saints are all the holy men and women who on earth chose to serve God in their actions. The Church has a Canonization process, in which she discovers causes for a person to be raised to the Sainthood of the Catholic Church. There is a series of time spans and sequence of elevation in which a person can be nominated a Saint. We, however, are called to be Saints. Our ancestors, who served God with faith and good actions, are Saints. Although they may not be officially recognized by the Church, God does not forget those who do His Work on Earth. That is why on November 1st, we celebrate All Saints Day. This day is to honor not only those that were officially recognized by the Church, but the good people that have died that have not been officially recognized by the Church.
