American Rules Football:

Minimum wage in the NFL (National Football League) in the United States is $390,00 a year for a rookie. The minimum wage will rise to $405,000 in 2013 and to $420,000 in 2014. Add $75,000 to the minimum salary for each of the first three years the player is in the NFL. Add another $85,000 for the 4th year. Add another $125,000 for the 7 year, and another $100,000 for the 10th year in the league. This means that the minimum an NFL player can be paid on his 10th year in the league is $925,000 a year in the 2012 season ($955,000 in the 2014 season).

Some super-star NFL players make as much as $10,000,000 a year. However each NFL team must spend a minimum of $106,128,000 and a maximum of $120,600,00 in salary for the entire team as of the 2012 season.
