A good nickname is one that suits the person for example my best friend and I call each other Squidge because we are similar to each other. Another friend's nickname is BanBan; her name is Savanah but we all like the names BanBan or Banna.

Opinion 2 - A good nickname should be something that rolls off your tongue whenever you call the person.

Opinion 3 - Yes a nickname should be something that suits the person and rolls easily off your tongue when you say it however you have to be friends with the person. Here are some examples: My name is Genevieve. My friends call me Genny or Gen Eve; Eliza we call Liz; Maelle we call Mae; Lauren we call Laury; Molly we call Mols or Shmolly or Shmols.
