This depends on the policy of the airline you booked your tickets with. e.g. Flightfrontier offers this option if you are willing to pay the difference between the price when you booked your tickets and the prices the airline is selling the tickets now on top of an name change fee. The best course of action is to contact the airline and ask whether or not they allow name changes and which steps you should take.
