It is actually the opposite... Reebok tends to run a half size smaller than nike
whatever the the size of company, big or small.... the feasibility analysis and requirement analysis is the central part of system analysis.
I can say right now, that Nike SB's especially run about a half size big. I bought a pair of Emerica's in 9.5 and they fit perfect and tight ( which is needed if you skate ), I just bought a pair of Nike Dunk High's in 9.5 and they are too big. I suggest dropping a half size when ordering Nike's online.
They are small
small
Any other large business that sells the same product as Nike. Any sports clothing business etc. Adidas and Puma are good examples. Think of a big company that's similar to Nike, it'll probably be a competitor.

I believe that Nike is a publicly traded company, call symbol NKE, trading at about $53/share. So you can buy yourself a piece of Nike if you want, unlike say Menard's where you can save big money but not make big profits, it is not publicly traded. Nike is "private" in that it is owned by individual shareholders(including other private groups such as mutual funds), rather than being owned by the government, such as the Post Office, NASA, apparently Chrysler, maybe GM, and some big banks, at least partially.
