The Starter Brand is owned by Iconix Brand Group, Inc. They bought it from Nike in 2007. Iconix licenses the Starter brand, along with Ocean Pacific (OP) and Danskin Now, to Walmart to source and sell. As for the shoes, Walmart has them made at a number of manufacturers in China.
