There is no Saint Ariande in Christian faith; Ariande is a ancient Greek princess of Crete and later the goddess wife of Dionysus.

Edit: Whoever responded to this doesn't know what they're talking about. Ariadne was a Greek princess but there was also a St. Ariadne, she was a slave in the household of a Phrygian prince. When pagan rites were performed in honour of the prince's birthday, she refused to take part. Hunted by the authorities, she prayed for assistance and a chasm opened miraculously in a ridge, then closed behind her, allowing her to escape the soldiers chasing her.
