Not Enough...

I can add by saying that it is true it is not enough if you have a life outside of work. The hours are you are the first one there and the last to leave. You get a small percentage of each car that gets sold and then most dealerships will also give a small, small, small, small salary. Depending on What state you are it can be as low as 3000 a month. For as many hours and stress that goes into the job it may not be worth it for you. If you are a good sales person you can actually make more money some months just doing that. Research the area you live in and see what the averages per month they put out before applying for any job is my advice. Also it is very competitive so if you have more then three bad months more then likely you will be fired lol not to freak anyone out. At most dealerships at the end of all the stress and not seeing your family or friends you most years will take home at least 100k if you dont live in a po-dunk town. However I suggest taking some money management courses because you will have those very long months with very little pay :) Good Luck.
