Whatever happened to Andy Cavaliere the Grand Funk Railroad's manager?

Andy Cavaliere replaced Terry Knight as manager, when Mark, Don, and Mel had a falling out with Knight over payment and finances ie, (not getting paid enough for concerts and record royalties). He managed them during the "We're An American Band" album/tour, and told them, just sing about what you do-you go to towns and play concerts, party with girls, and write songs and go to the next town. He has since passed away.
