They already did- the Nano 6th generation is about the same size as a shuffle, but with a little touch screen. It is a Nano, but unfortunately it doesn't do any of the fun things that a 5th gen can do such as play videos or games.

No. It doesn't have as much memory and you can't see the song titles to be able to choose which one you want to play.And you can't play games, view photos and watch videos, nano has more extras.
well, it depends. i have had problems charging my ipod touch 2nd gen. with my ipod nano 1st gen. so, NO!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- guy above is a retard, all ipod chargers work for all ipods EXCEPT the ipod shuffle. The shuffle uses a different kind of charger.

no i have looked and you can't get another charger for an ipod shuffle you will have to go and buy a whole new shuffle i had to do the same
Yes, you can shuffle songs by shaking it. Yes I Have one. When you shake it from side to side you change songs either in a playlist or in your entire library. Same with the music videos
