It really depends. Some can, some can't. Some will charge with a USB or other type of wall charger while playing music through the aux. Then there are the ones that won't do it at all and get completely confused because it is looking for the PC connection when using a USB connect. Try Zen Stone Plus. Ipods charge and play also.

I have an SPI mp3 player and everytime that it is charging the mp3 shows a yellow screen with the leyend CONNECT and a computer and mp3 showing that your player is connected to the computer. But is this the only problem you have with your mp3 if is not the best thing that you can do is call for tech support, ohh and another thing make sure your mp3 player is on when its charging.
