You won't damage anything, but I have found some cables to be unidirectional. I thought it was absurd, and completely contrary to how cables work... until someone suggested it with a specific setup between a computer and a projector and sure enough it would work one direction but not the other. I've since discovered other cables that also are unidirectional HDMI cables.
If, for example, the E is correct, you point to the backwards E. If the E is on it's back and it's 3 horizontal lines are pointing up, you click the E pointing down. Do you now understand?
Yes, backwards (or backward) is an adverb. Example: He walks backwards. It can also be used as an adjective. Example: That's a backwards way of doing things.
An example of a free vector is wind force as it has both magnitude and direction. This vector can be represented by an arrow pointing in the direction of the wind with a length corresponding to the strength of the wind.
A pointing finger is generally used to indicate attention or direction. For example, pointing fingers may be seen in businesses to indicate things like where the restrooms are. The more common 'arrow' style of graphic is used in the same way.
The direction of power flow is in the direction of the Poynting vector. The vector itself is the cross product of the Electrostatic field and the Magnetic field.P = E x H
It represents the flow of energy from one organism (food) to another (the consumer or predator). The one that is gaining the energy has the arrow pointing to it. For example: A mouse would be pointing to a snake, and the snake would be pointing to a hawk.

An example of gesticulation is waving your hands while speaking to emphasize a point. This can include gestures like pointing, using hand motions to demonstrate size or direction, or using body language to convey emotion or emphasis.
Hannah backwards reads the same as forward, and is an example of a palindrome.
deceleration in a linear motion (braking during driving or an object thrown up while you are standing on on earth) --> the acceleration is pointing at an opposite direction than the motion. ============================
In a longitudinal wave, matter moves forward and backward in the same direction that the wave travels. This is due to the parallel displacement of particles in the direction of wave propagation. Sound waves are a common example of longitudinal waves.
